The March edition of “Wonder” — the on-line journal of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry—is now available.

This month’s theme, “Make Disciples of All Nations,” features reflections by active and past short and long-term missionaries.

Father Luke Veronis reflects on his time as a long-term missionary in Albania, while Seminarian Sandro Margheritino shares experiences as a short-term missionary in the same country.  In another article, Christina Semon, long-term missionary in Moldova, shares her experiences developing youth ministry programs.  In “Learning From an Empty Nest,” Miho Ochaia Ealy uses her experience growing up in the post-missionary Japanese Orthodox Church to draw lessons for the Church in America.  Finally, Father Ted Pisarchuk challenges everyone to consider missionary work in his article, “Wrecked by God.”

The theme of the April edition of Wonder — “Behold, Dying We Live” — will focus on the Christian approach to death and dying.  Deadline for submissions is April 10.

As always, readers are invited to submit articles, creative writing, artwork, poetry, photos, and videos for future installments.  Suggested topics are always welcome. Send all materials and comments to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
