Your Beatitude,
On behalf of the Orthodox Church of Finland I cordially congratulate Your Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon for the election to the primate of the Orthodox Church in America.
It is my sincere hope and prayer that the holy bonds of peace and charity between our Churches will continue to strengthen during the time of Your leadership. I carry in my heart warm memories from the encounter with Your Beatitude during the pilgrimage to Alaska in 2005.
As I send You these congratulations and prayers for many blessed years in Your new stewardship in the Church I also ask Your Beatitude to keep the Orthodox Church of Finland in Your prayers.
