OCA receives “clean” audit opinion for 2014

The independent audit of the Orthodox Church in America’s financial records for the year ending December 31, 2014, conducted by the auditors, CapinCrouse LLP, has been completed and is available in PDF format.

“Once again, the OCA has been issued an unqualified or ‘clean’ audit opinion”, said Melanie Ringa, OCA Treasurer.  “The unqualified opinion is the best type of report an auditee can receive from the external auditor.”

Ms. Ringa also noted that “the financial results for 2014 show total operating revenues of $2,380,032.00, with total operating expenses of $2,348,760.00.  A net surplus from operations of $31,272.00, prior to income from investments, annuities and All-American Council activities was realized.  After accounting for these items, the final result for 2014 was a surplus of $89,176.00.
