October installment of OCA’s young adult “Wonder Blog” now available

“Christians in the Workplace” is the theme of the October 2011 installment of the Orthodox Church in America’s young adult blog, “Wonder,” now available at www.ocawonder.com.

The issue focuses on maintaining our Christian faith in the secular workplace.  Articles include “Been Seen and Then Heard,” a reflection on being a Christian in a unique workplace by Priest Sean Levine (Chaplian, US Army); “Who is Amy?” by Amy Bozeman, an Orthodox nurse struggling with her Christian identity in the workplace; “There is Something Different About You,” an article by Protodeacon Peter Danilchick, which traces his time as a deacon and an executive for a large corporation; and “Growing as a Christian in the Heart of Wall Street” by Mr. Jeffrey Hoff.

“Wonder,” an on-line publication of the OCA’s Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, provides thought-provoking articles for young adults and college students and those who minister to them.

The November issue of “Wonder” will focus on “Romance and Dating.”  Submissions are always welcome.  Deadline for submissions is November 8, 2011.

Readers are invited to submit articles, creative writing, artwork, poetry, photos, and videos for future installments.  Suggested topics are always welcome.  Send all materials and comments to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
