Parish Revitalization Webinar to preview themes for Small Parish Forum

Webinar

On Thursday June 12 at 8:00 p.m. EDT, the Archdiocese of Western Pennsylvania will present a free webinar titled “Profiles in Orthodox Parish Revitalization.”  This session will share stories of renewal and revitalization at three “century old” Orthodox parishes.

Speakers include Father Jonathan Proctor, Rector, Holy Trinity Church, Saint Paul, MN (Parish founded 1916); Father Tom Soroka, Rector, Saint Nicholas Church, McKees Rocks, PA (Parish founded 1914); and Father Marc Vranes, Rector, Holy Trinity Church, Willimantic, CT (Parish founded 1916).  They will offer insights describing how each community summoned the energy and resolve to reinvigorate their parish in order face forward for a brighter future. The session will be moderated by Joseph Kormos, Parish Development Ministry leader of the Archdiocese.

This webinar is designed to preview some of the important themes that will be covered at the Small Parish Forum to be held at Christ the Savior Church, Byesville, OH July 10—12.
