Updated Diptychs of the Orthodox Church in America Now Available

necrology

As has been announced, this year the Orthodox Church in America celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the reception of the Tomos of Autocephaly from the Russian Orthodox Church and the canonization of St. Herman of Alaska. During this year, there will be liturgical celebrations, lectures, and retreats dedicated to these anniversaries.

As part of our Churchwide celebrations, the Office of the Chancellor of the Orthodox Church in America has updated the Diptychs of departed clergy, monastics, and prominent laity who have labored in our Church from the days of the Alaskan mission, through the time of the Metropolia, up until our very day.

This necrology is now available to download as a PDF in time for use at the proskomide for the Divine Liturgy on the Saturday of Meatfare, February 22, 2020.
