The September 2013 edition of “Wonder”—the on-line journal of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry—is now available.

The issue’s theme—Reflections on Church History—focuses on the limits of merely historical approaches to Christ and Church life.

Priest John Cox leads this month’s issue with his article, “A God of our Own Contrivance.” Harrison Russin revisits a question posed by Archpriest Georges Florovsky in his article, “The Predicament of the Church Historian, Reconsidered”.  Simeon Morbey shares “A Few Thoughts on the Subject of Church History,” while OCA Youth Director, Andrew Boyd, reflects on the potential idols of Our History.

The theme of the October edition is “https://www.oca.orgNot Just a Sunday Church” and will address what happens in Church life on the other days of the week. Deadline for submissions is October 15.

As always, readers are invited to submit articles, creative writing, artwork, poetry, photos, and videos for future installments.  Suggested topics are always welcome. Send all materials and comments to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
