Challenge Accepted! Youth Department “YouTube Challenge” on Track!

The Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministries “YouTube Challenge” is well under way and participants are preparing to submit their video entries for judging on November 10, 2012.

In September, the Department issued two challenge questions (one for high school students and one for college-aged) to be answered in the form of a short video submission. Individual high school and college-aged students, as well as parish youth groups and OCF chapters, have signed up to participate.

“Although we are working already with a number of participants, we have extended the registration deadline to October 30 in order to make this new program open and available to as many people as possible,” said Andrew Boyd, OCA Youth Director.  “We have a huge level of excitement and interest in this pilot project both from our sister Orthodox jurisdictions and ecumenical groups.  We can’t wait to see what the participants produce in answer to our two challenge questions.”

More information on submission rules, challenge questions, and awards may be found here. Anyone interested in participating should email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) by October 30.
