Orientale Lumen Conference to open in Washington, DC June 20; broadcasts available on AFR

“Just minutes after they occur,” Ancient Faith Radio https://www.ancientfaith.com will broadcast lectures delivered at the 15th annual Orientale Lumen Conference at the Washington Retreat House here June 20-23, 2011.

The conference theme “Rome and the Communion of Churches: Bishop, Patriarch or Pope” will be discussed from the Orthodox Christian and Catholic perspectives by several noted speakers representing both traditions.


His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah and His Eminence, Metropolitan Kallistos [Ware] of Diokleia are slated to speak.  Archimandrite Robert Taft, SJ, of the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome heads the list of Catholic lecturers.
