OCA Pension Board meets, announces open seats on Board
The Orthodox Church in America’s Pension Board met at the Chancery here on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Board members approved benefits, finalized investment decisions, and discussed actuarial reports. They also began planning for the upcoming All-American Council.
Elections to fill three open Board positions—one clergy, two lay—will be held at the 16th All-American Council, slated to convene in Bellevue, WA, October 31-November 4, 2011.
The Orthodox Church in America Pension Plan serves over 300 active participants and more than 125 retirees, widows, and beneficiaries. Participation in the Plan has been mandated for all clergy and is available for all full-time Church workers.
