Parish Background
Since November 1996, there has been a domestic chapel in the home of Fr Vladimir Tobin. At first, services were conducted in this chapel. Subsequently services were conducted at the Monastic Chapel of St Sergius of Radonezh until February 2004 when the church moved to its next location at 5429 Cornwallis St. St Vladimir, Prince of Kiev Mission was received into the Archdiocese of Canada of the OCA in 1999. In February 2013, we moved to our current location at 3163 Purcell’s Cove Road, Halifax NS. It is composed mainly of Russian and English speaking people.
