Parish Background
SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Church is a parish of the New England Diocese of the Orthodox Church in America. The parish was founded in 1911 by the VRev Seraphim Oblivantzeff. The members of the new Community were primarily immigrants from the Byelo-Russian (White Russian) province of Imperial Russia. From the first, however, there have been other nationalities (such as Greeks, Lebanese, Albanians, and American converts) represented as well.
