Directions
Deacon Spyridon Roegner, Matushka Photini, and their family kindly offer their home, about 12 miles south of Waupaca, as the temporary home of the Chapel. Their address is W4863 Park Place, Saxeville, WI 54981 (The city may also show as “Waupaca” or “Pine River”, it is all the same). The home is on the north shore of Long Lake in northern Waushara County. It is the only brick house on the street. Parking is available in multiple locations about 100 feet uphill from the house. Please note that in case of heavy winter weather, getting to and from the main highway to their home can be nearly impossible due to the winding rural roads.

Parish Background
In December 2022, St. Matthew Orthodox Church in Green Bay began an outreach effort to offer services in the Waupaca - Stevens Point (Portage County) - Waushara County area to serve the Orthodox Christians in this area of central Wisconsin, which has no Orthodox community within at least 60 miles. In December 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel established it as “The Chapel of Saint Macrina the Younger, Waupaca, WI” as a dependency of Saint Matthew Church in Green Bay.
