Directions

Marysville (and Yuba City) are bordered to the west by Hwy 99, and to the East by Hwy 65/70, and are each approximately 45 minutes north of Sacramento area, and one hour south of the Chico area. We are located in the southwest corner of the Del Monte Mall, which is bordered by 5th and J Sts, in Marysville, just at the foot of the bridge. Please note that as our entrance on 5th St. is temporarily blocked by road construction, we ask that you use our second entrance on Olive St. As you pull in to the Del Monte Square Mall off of J Street, continue across the parking lot to Olive St., and park in the lot on Olive St. You will see our auxiliary entrance—the blue door on the back wall of the mall, near 5th St.

Parish Background

At last we have a full-time Orthodox Church in the Yuba-Sutter Counties area. We have established evening services on Saturdays at 6:30pm, and Divine Liturgy on Sundays at 9:30am every week—and weekday Great Feasts as well.  Please call 530-763-3497 for additional information. Known as the Yuba-Sutter Orthodox Mission for many years, we moved from our borrowed location on North George Washington Street in Yuba City, to our current 2000-square-foot Church space, which allows us full usage for Church purposes. Our Archbishop confirmed the name “St. Silouan Orthodox Mission” in January of this year, naming us for the renowned 20th Century Saint, Silouan of Mount Athos. We welcome all Orthodox Christians, and all inquirers seeking the Orthodox Way.
