Martyrs Rusticus the Presbyter and Eleutherius the Deacon Commemorated on October 3 Troparion & Kontakion Saints Rusticus and Eleutherius were disciples of Saint Dionysius the Areopagite. They suffered martyrdom in Athens during the persecution of the emperor Domitian (81-96).
