Apostle Olympas of the Seventy

Saint Olympas was one of the Seventy Apostles chosen and sent forth to preach by Christ (Luke 10:1).

The holy Apostle Paul mentions Olympas (Rom 16:15), and he was a companion of the Apostle Peter. He was beheaded on the very day and hour when the Apostle Peter was crucified.

Saint Olympas is also commemorated on November 10 together with Saints Erastus, Rodion, Sosipater, Quartus and Tertius.
