Today, like a beautiful sun, shining in the southern region of the Russian land, / your Icon, which the right-believing Great Prince Dēmḗtrios brought to the city of Moscow, / is revered by all, O Sovereign Lady. / We faithful celebrate joyously at the coming of your honored Icon, fervently entreating: / "O Sovereign Lady Theotokos, pray to your Son, Christ our God, for our salvation."
Kontakion — Tone 8
From your holy icon, O Virgin Theotokos, / healings flow like many rivers; / seeing this we cry out: / "O Most Holy Sovereign Lady Theotokos, do not forget your sinful servants, / and pray to Christ God for our salvation."
