You were a pillar of Orthodoxy, O Hierarch Athanasios, / supporting the Church with divine doctrines; / you
proclaimed the Son to be of one Essence with the Father, / putting Arius to shame. / O Righteous Father,
entreat Christ God to grant us great mercy.
