The House That God Built: Session V: Our Life in Christ

Ready:
You will need a copy of the game board “Our Life in Christ”, per child, a legal sized file folder, die or spinner, markers, copies of game cards, flexi foam pieces or other types of game pawns, zipper sandwich bags to store the pieces, tape to attach bag to board and glue.

Set:
This activity is to provide a fun venue for families to explore the choices we make in trying to lead a Christian life.

Go!:
Color the game board to your liking. Glue tiny foam shapes together in a stack to create game pawns or use pre-existing ones. Cut apart the consequences cards. Glue the game board to one side of the legal sized file folder. Tape the zippered bag to the inside of the file folder to store the pieces. Play together!

Rules of the Game:
Come up with a way together who will go first. Place all pawns in God’s house. Throw the die and move forward that many spaces. After each turn pick a consequence card and move forward or backwards according to the situation on the card. The goal is to reach God’s Kingdom. Once there, wait patiently for the other players to arrive.
