On Saturday, October 5, 2013, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon. made an archpastoral visit to Saint Andrew Church, Baltimore, MD, to mark the 40th anniversary of Archpriest Theodore Boback’s ordination to the holy priesthood.
Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the Divine Liturgy, at which His Grace, Bishop Michael and numerous clergy from the area concelebrated.
Father Theodore was awarded the Order of Saint Innocent, Bronze Class, in honor of his anniversary. Matushka Hope Boback likewise received the Order of Saint Innocent, Bronze Class. On behalf of the parish community, Metropolitan Tikhon presented Father Theodore with a jeweled cross. Bishop Michael presented a custom made palitza to Father Theodore.
A banquet hosted by the parish faithful followed the Divine Liturgy.
