On June 25 – 26, 2024, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the celebration of the feast of the Wonderworking Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL. This year’s observance of the feast was of particular importance as 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the original Tikhvin Icon being returned from the Cathedral to Holy Dormition Monastery, Tikhvin, Russia.
