On Monday, September 30, 2003, the Lesser Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America met in Syosset, New York in preparation for the Fall Session of the Holy Synod of Bishops.
Members of the Holy Synod include His Beatitude, Metropolitan HERMAN, His Eminence, Archbishop KYRILL of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania and the Bulgarian Diocese, His Eminence, Archbishop PETER of New York and New Jersey, and His Grace, Bishop SERAPHIM of Ottawa and Canada.
