His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, attended the meeting of the Orthodox Church in America’s Board of Theological Education at Saint Stephen Cathedral, Philadelphia, PA on Friday, February 15, 2013. Also in attendance were His Grace, Bishop Michael of New York and the Diocese of New York and New Jersey; Archpriest John Jillions, OCA Chancellor; and Archdeacon Kirill Sokolov. Issues discussed related to curriculum, ordination guidelines, and other matters.
On Saturday, February 16, Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at the cathedral with Board members and participants in the diaconal program of the Diocese of Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania. Following a luncheon, Metropolitan Tikhon met with the students.
