On Monday, May 17, prior to the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon blessed a new novice for the Monastery of the Holy Transfiguration, Ellwood City, PA. His Beatitude blessed Sister Brittany Maria to wear the monastic habit at the request of the Abbess, Mother Christophora. His Beatitude had spent the night at the monastery on his way to the Dormition of the Mother of God Monastery in Rives Junction, MI, for the Regular Spring 2021 Session of the Holy Synod.
