On December 13, 2021, on the feast of the Repose of the Venerable Herman of Alaska, Wonderworker of All America, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the Divine Liturgy at the Chancery of the Orthodox Church in America.
In his homily, His Beatitude encouraged the faithful to rejoice on this great feast of the first saint canonized by our Church in 1970, and to follow the example Saint Herman has provided us as the “north star” for Orthodox Christians in America.
