His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, presided at the 115th annual Memorial Day Pilgrimage to Saint Tikhon’s Monastery, South Canaan, PA May 24-27, 2019. Pilgrims from near and far were warmly welcomed by Abbot Sergius and the monastic brotherhood for four days of worship, spiritual renewal and fellowship on the grounds of North America’s oldest Orthodox Christian monastic community.
The faithful were especially blessed by the presence of the Hawaiian Myrrh Streaming Icon of the Iveron Mother of God, which was present throughout the weekend.
Concelebrating with Metropolitan Tikhon at the Memorial Day Hierarchical Divine Liturgy were His Eminence, Archbishop Melchisedek; His Eminence, Archbishop Michael; and His Eminence, Archbishop David.
