On Saturday, January 21, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon presided at the celebration of the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Washington, DC. The Archdiocesan clergy and faithful gathered in honor of His Beatitude who will mark the tenth anniversary of his primatial enthronement on Friday, January 27.
Concelebrating with His Beatitude were Archpriest Alexander Rentel, OCA Chancellor, Priest Alessandro Margheritino, OCA Secretary, Archpriest John Vitko, Archdiocesan Chancellor, Archpriest John Parker, Dean of Saint Tikhon’s Seminary, and several other archdiocesan clergy.
Before the Divine Liturgy, His Beatitude ordained Reader Alexander Woodill to the subdiaconate. Following the service, a lunch was served in His Beatitude’s honor.
