On Sunday, January 29, 2023, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon visited Holy Virgin Mary Cathedral, Los Angeles, CA, and served a panikhida for Bishop Tikhon, newly departed. Metropolitan Tikhon served this panikhida with Archpriest Nazari Polataiko, cathedral rector. His Beatitude is in Los Angeles for the 12th Annual Assembly of Bishops meeting. After the panikhida, Metropolitan Tikhon spoke of Bishop Tikhon’s legacy, his love of liturgy, and shared some of personal memories of Bishop Tikhon.
