On Tuesday, June 16, 2015, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon and members of the Executive Committee of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the USA met with His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew at the Phanar in Istanbul, Turkey. [See related article.] The meeting is taking place prior to the opening of the sixth annual gathering of the Assembly, which will be held in Chicago, IL September 15-17, 2015.
