On Sunday, December 16, 2012, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon, joined His Eminence, Metropolitan Philip of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America at the archdiocese’s Saint Nicholas Cathedral, Brooklyn, NY, for the celebration of a Trisagion for the repose of His Beatitude, the newly departed Patriarch Ignatius of Antioch and All the East. The service was celebrated after the Divine Liturgy. Members of other religious communities and the diplomatic corps were also present.
