On Tuesday, May 23, 2006, His Beatitude, Metropolitan Herman, opened the spring session of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America with the celebration of a Service of Thanksgiving in St. Sergius Chapel at the OCA Chancery.
