On Wednesday, June 28, 2006, the participants of the Youth Institute at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary visited The Orthodox Church in America Chancery Offices in Syosset, NY, as part of a day-long excursion visiting several notable Orthodox churches in New York City and immediate environs. The youth were led by Rev. John Erickson, SVS Dean and Rev. Philip Rogers, SVS seminarian and youth institute coordinator. Upon arrival, the guests were welcomed in St. Sergius Chapel by His Beatitude, Metropolitan Herman.
