Twenty-two clergy and lay persons completed the Orthodox Church in America’s Third Mission School, held in Huntington, NY August 21-25, 2017. His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon and His Eminence, Archbishop Michael were among those who offered presentations.
“The school was organized with the blessing of the Holy Synod of Bishops and funded through a bequest to the OCA earmarked for missions and evangelism,” said Archpriest Eric G. Tosi, OCA Secretary and Mission School organizer. “The school brings together one clergyman and one lay person from each diocese of the OCA. The week long program offers an intensive study on the theory and practice of mission and evangelism.”
Other presenters included Archpriest John Jillions; Archpriest Steven Voytovich; Archpriest Chad Hatfield; Archpriest David Rucker; Archpriest John Parker; Archpriest Timothy Hojnicki; Archpriest Thomas Soroka; Archdeacon Joseph Matusiak; and Matushka Jennifer Mosher.
