Third Youth Department job search webinar to be held March 21

The Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry of the Orthodox Church in America will host the third in its series of job search skills webinars on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

“The topic for this month’s webinar is ‘Do’s and Don’ts of the Interview Process’,” according to Andrew Boyd, OCA Youth Director.  “This webinar will feature an in-depth look at the interview process with several guidelines for what makes a great interview and what makes a disastrous one. We’ll be examining real-life examples and case studies and offering tips and suggestions that can be applied to any interview in any field.”

The presenter will be Mr. Jeffrey Hoff, who works in the financial services industry in New York City, who has been relied upon his company’s recruiting department to perform in-person interviews, engage candidates in recruiting sessions, and recruit at campus events at top-tier schools.  Prior to his position, he was the principal consultant at several Fortune 500 clients during his tenure at a software firm subsequently acquired by Oracle, where he played a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring talent into the organization through his work with campus recruiting and his involvement in the candidate interview and selection process.  He possesses a strong understanding of the logistics, nuances, and cultural factors that play into the hiring process.  Jeff and his wife are members of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Jersey City, NJ.
