Three Case Studies of "Love" Worksheet
A. "I love Rick. He is such a wonderful guy. He is so kind, and he
always looks out for his friends. He really cheers me up when I am sad,
and he never asks for anything in return. We spend so much time talking.
He understands me and I think I am beginning to understand him. His family
life is not so great, though. He gets real frustrated. Sometimes he tells
me that he just needs to be alone. I hate the fact that I can't talk to
them during those times, but I understand that he needs time to sort things
out. You should get to know him! We really care about each other. He is
truly beautiful.
B. "I love Lisa. She makes me feel incredible when I am around her.
Her smile is so bright-- she is really attractive. The other night we went
out and she dressed up so nice for me I felt like I was the luckiest man
on earth. I can't wait for us to get closer. When I hear her voice it's
like music. I can't concentrate on anything when she's around. I'll introduce
you to her. She is so beautiful.
C. "I love Jenny. She is a dream come true. I want to spend the rest
of my life with her. Every time we are together I think about how wonderful
it would be. She would be the perfect wife. I would do anything for her,
you know. I hate it when she's not around, but then I get so excited again
when we talk. She is definitely the one for me-- my soul mate. It really
is beautiful.
