The Orthodox Church in America was represented at memorial and funeral services for His Holiness, Patriarch Aleksy II of Moscow and All Russia.
On the evening of Friday, December 5, 2008, OCA Chancellor, Archpriest Alexander Garklavs, and Secretary, Archpriest Eric G. Tosi, took part in a memorial service for His Holiness at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Patriarchal Cathedral, New York, NY, celebrated by His Grace, Bishop Mercurius of Zaraisk, Administrator of the Patriarchal parishes in the USA.
