On the weekend of June 28-29, 2014, the faithful of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Endicott, NY, celebrated their 100th Anniversary. Present for the celebration were His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon; His Grace, Bishop Michael; and His Grace, Bishop Mark, who were welcomed by Archpriest Alexey Karlgut, Rector, and the parish faithful. The church was filled to capacity for Sunday’s anniversary Divine Liturgy.
Informally organized in 1912, at which time the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated in a private home, the parish was formally established in 1914. Priest Constantine Leontovich served as the parish’s first pastor.
